Wings of Friendship

I am absolutely in love with this stamp set Wings of Friendship!

I am just as in love with the new In Colors for 2009-2010!

Colors here are Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Pretty in Pink.

The nicest thing that Stampin' Up! did for us this year was to make the Markers in the new In Colors....thank you, thank you!

A Wedding Present

Very good friends of ours are getting married today...and what in the world do you get for a couple our age combining two households???? A bottle of Dom Perignon of course!!

I used the Wings of Friendship set again and this time used the smaller stamp to accent Clyde and Cindy's tag and added it to the top of the bottle.

I found an AWESOME wine box at Tuesday Morning (LOVE that store!) and dropped the bottle in.

All I had to add was a card:

I added the envelope for the card to the wine box by looping my ribbon into the side of the envelope before sealing it up so it would hang from the handle. I then added another tag to match the one on the bottle and used velcro to close.

I am really pleased with how this turned out!

Waterfall Scrapbook

I love Heather Summers!!

Heather is a Stampin' Up! Demo in Canada that does Amazing things with paper!

I have taken several of her Punch Classes and they are worth every penny - 20 classes for $20 and that includes your PDF with instructions as well as a video for those that are visual learners...and that would be ME!

Her latest offering is the Waterfall Scrapbook and her release date is perfect timing.

I also belong to a Swap Group on Paper Craft Planet that another wonderful Canadian has started. Our swap for September is to be a mini album...and this one is perfect. Kelly loves Basic Grey paper (and so do I which is why I happened to have a pad of Wisteria on hand :o) Imagine my utter delight...no truly!!... when I found out that the new Stampin' Up! colors for 2009-2010 match this paper perfectly!!!

I used the Crushed Curry, Soft Suede and Rich Razzleberry and I am REALLY please with how it turned out.

Side note...should you order the Waterfall Scrapbook from Heather (and you really should - this was so easy to do and does NOT look like it at all!) be sure to stop by her website for the August 20th post where she shows you how to band it all together...I missed that step and made it a lot harder than I needed to :0)

Page 4-5 - Back Page a little longer....

Page 6-7 - These are my favorite pages...I used the Sakura Clear Star Gel Pen to outline each one of the flowers...it is sooo pretty!

Page 8-9 - Back Page much larger

Page 10-11 - Back page is pulled out completely!

Now, I can't wait to make one of these for myself - isn't that the way it always works????

Circle Circus

I LOVE the combination in this card of Real Red, Black and Whisper white. I also used Best Wishes from the Oval All set as well as the large oval punch and the scallop oval punch. What made this card come together so easily was using the 1 1/4" square punch! I would have been all day trying to center those on little squares!

More Sweet Centers

This card was just too cute not to post!!

Sweet Centers

Ok...it has been a very long time...but I went on a break for a while...but I'm back and having a blast!! I haven't been this excited about new things from Stampin' Up in a while...but the cards using the Sweet Centers today are just TOO cute!

The cups used in this card are only $2.95 for 12...inexpensive enough to be THE mom at your kids' next function at school - especially with Halloween coming up. They have their own self adhesive so they'll stick securely to your card...a handy thing when using candy instead of beads and buttons!

How, you may ask, are you supposed to mail something this big???

Order the special padded envelopes, of course!

Another new set from Stampin Up is Circle Circus....I LOVE this set!! It is also the perfect compliment to the Sweet Centers set should you not want to add the cups.

I've been having fun this weekend and have more to come!!!
